So why this form and no more email link on web pages? Spammers, is why. The email harvesting bots compile spam lists of every email address they find on web pages anywhere. Half the emails in the world is now spam and that proportion is rising fast.

I'm tired of having to delete hundreds of spam messages to find the real emails I care about. Even the spam filters I use only catch some of this aggravating nonsense. It's too hard to tell the real ones from the wrong ones and occasionally the real ones get victimized by the delete button.

The net result is I have to hide my email addresses from the spammers. You should too as best you can.

Don't forget: this form is just a one time thing. Once you're through to me and get a response, you have a safe email address to use and won't need the form anymore. I'll know who you are and you won't get thrown out with the spam junk. Sorry for the inconvenience, but it is unhealthy to have all the spam junk flash in my face every day. Or in yours.
